After two years of focusing on strength training, I set a goal to return to and incorporate more trail running as a way to connect with my oldest son. I started experiencing debilitating knee and hip pain that limited me from running more than a mile. I shared my goal with Carrie and Joe and started weekly PT sessions. Within 6 weeks of working with Joe, I was back on the trails with ZERO hip and knee pain (a feat I didn't believe possible without serious intervention). I can now easily run 4-5 miles without discomfort and I'm able to run with my son again. "I have had chronic back pain for the last 20 years (since high school). It increasing got worse with sciatic pain, herniated discs, and later diagnosed with retrolisthesis. Joe has been a life saver. I have never had a physical therapist take such meticulous notes and really take the time each visit to work on what needs to be worked on. He will even deviate from his plan when the session requires it. He is great pivoting his plans when needed and I always trust his intuition. I finally feel like I have someone who truly cares about my care and wants to see me be able to go off on my own and not need physical therapy.
